2023 Players Tour Players of the Year

Avery Bartels, out of Oxbow, North Dakota,  is the 2023 Players Tour Girls Player of the Year. Bartels also received the Players Tour Player of the Year honors in 2022! She played in 4 Players Tour events earning 835 points. She won the Players Tour event at Rose Creek GC/Oxbow CC shooting 73-71-144 (+1) and placed second in the Bunker Hills GC event shooting 75-77-152 (+8). She won BOTH the ‘Sota Series Match Play Championship as the #1 seed and the Players Tour Tournament of Champions shooting 74-82-156 (+12). All of her success secured the title of Players Tour Player of the Year for the second consecutive year. Congratulations Avery on your great summer!

Jacob Wilson, out of Forest Lake, Minnesota is the 2023 Players Tour Boys Player of the Year. Wilson played in 7 Players Tour events earning 938.75 points. He finished in the top 5 in 5 out of his 7 Players Tour events and finished 3rd in the Players Tour Tournament of Champions. Wilson won his first Players Tour event of the year at Keller GC/StoneRidge GC shooting 72-24-146 (+2) and his second win came later on in the season at Braemar GC (an 18 hole event) shooting a bogey-free 66 (-6). He also earned a trophy for his runner-up finish at the Cannon GC/The Jewel GC Players Tour event, shooting 74-70-144 (+1). Congratulations Jacob on your summer success!
