MOORHEAD, Minn. – Four teams faced off at Moorhead Country Club in an attempt to earn the title of PGA Jr. League Minnesota PGA Section Champion. Each of the teams had previsouly placed in the top-two of their respective Section Qualifier to earn their spot into the Section Championship. Teams from Aberdeen, SD; Grand Forks, ND; Blaine, MN (TPC Twin Cities); and Oakdale, MN (Oak Marsh GC) competed against eachother in a match play style PGA Jr. League format. 18-holes were played across two 9-hole sessions. The team from Blaine, MN – TPC Twin Cities, took the crown beating Grand Forks in the semi-finals and the team from Oak Marsh GC in the Championship match. TPC Twin Cities is captained by PGA Professional, David Branstad, PGA. The PGA Jr. League Regional event will be held Sept. 3-5 at The Ridge Golf Club in Sioux Center, IA.
