What is the Junior Tour?
The Junior Tour is designed for 13-19-year-olds and all events are 18-hole individual stroke play competitions. Juniors who have reached their 19th birthday prior to August 15, 2024 are eligible only if they have immediately finished their senior year of high school. This is for players who are looking to play competitive golf in a recreational environment—similar to other club-level sports. It is also a great option for those looking to play competitively in high school or may already be on a high school team. The Junior Tour is the primary per-requisite to earn status on the Players Tour. Caddies are not allowed on this tour. The Junior Tour has two age divisions of 13-15 and 16-19. Juniors can play in this program based on their age as of August 15, 2024 and they will be placed in the correct age division based on their age as of that date. Each 18-hole Junior Tour Event has an entry fee of $35.00. The annual membership fee for the Junior Tour Membership is $100.00.
*NOTE: A junior does have the option to play up on the Junior Tour if they are under the age of 13. They would need to pay the appropriate membership fee and we would need to receive a recommendation letter/email that the junior can play up on the Junior Tour. If a junior does play up on the Junior Tour they cannot play back down in Minny and Prep Tour events.
BlueGolf is sensitive when it comes to siblings accounts. Here are some tips to help with frequently asked questions during this process.
With the cart option in BlueGolf they only allow you to process 5 events at a time. So once you do the first five events and get them through you can go back in and add more events.

Yes, the Junior Tour has two age divisions: 13-15 and 16-19. You will be placed into the correct age division based on your age as of August 15, 2024.
To provide ample playing opportunities to our members, we have devised a Tournament Selection Process, also referred to as a random lottery process, to ensure everyone has a chance to compete in the events they desire. The tournament selection process for Minny/Prep/Junior Tour events for 2024 will run from Wednesday March 20 until the selection deadline of Friday, May 3, 2024 at 4:30 p.m. (CST). You will be able to make your tournament selections during this time period. This is not the same as registering for events; you are simply selecting and ranking the events you would like to play in. There is a possibility, however, that you could receive all your picks so please keep that in mind. Everyone who selects an event during this time frame has the same chance to receive it as everyone else to select that event, it is a NOT first come, first served basis as long as your picks are made within the selection time frame. NO LATE SELECTIONS WILL BE HONORED.
Beginning on Wednesday, March 20 members can log into their 2024 Member account using their ID and Password and select the events they would like to play in. Since you are a Junior Tour membership you will only be selecting Junior Tour events for the lottery. When doing your online tournament selections, you will be asked to rank your preference for the events that you would like to participate. There will be a drop-down list of sticker numbers (Junior Tour Members 1-20). The stickers are used to designate your preference for the events you would like to play in. Select one sticker number from the drop-down list for each tournament. #1 designates your MOST preferred event to #20 (for Junior Tour Members) your LEAST preferred. This does not mean that you need to select the maximum number of tournaments allowed for each program. ***NOTE*** WHEN USING YOUR PREFERENCE STICKERS, YOU NEED TO START WITH #1 FOR THE EVENT YOU WOULD LIKE TO PLAY IN MOST. Then, you will use #2 for your second desired event, and so on until you have assigned a preference sticker number to each tournament you would like to participate in. DO NOT SKIP PREFERENCE STICKER NUMBERS. If a number is skipped, you may miss out on getting tournaments. The number of events you are selecting should be the highest preference sticker you use.
We will begin emailing out confirmations for the tournaments that you received through the tournament selection process the week of May 13. You will receive one email for each Junior Tour event that you are confirmed into playing for the 2024 season. At this time your credit card will ONLY be charged for the events that you have received through the tournament selection process. If you received 5 events through the lottery process you would receive 5 confirmation emails.
Juniors that are 2024 Junior Tour Members will be able to register for Junior Tour events that still have openings starting on Monday, May 20, 2024 at 9:00 a.m. (CST). Juniors will be able to register for events that have open spots up to five days prior to the date of the event at our website www.minnesotajuniorgolf.com by clicking on the Junior Tour event schedule or by logging into your 2024 Member account.
